The IM return pump is pretty powerful on it's own. The MP10 is probably not needed at all for this tank, but that's because it's a species specific tank and carpet nems don't like a lot of flow especially anything direct. In most cases one MP10 would be fine. In a heavy acro tank I'd go with...

Correct. Species tanks don't count to your limit of tanks in the house. They are freebies. Significant others have to give them a pass because they are learning experiences.
