Current tank update. The clam didn’t make it, but the rest of the tank has been doing pretty well. Currently, fighting a little cyano on the sand bed. I sucked it off with a turkey baster. I think I had a float switch going bad, because once I swapped it out, my ATO setup had been working well.

It might be flow. I’ll try moving to a different location. I’ll take a closer look for new shell when I get home. GC

Thanks. I meant one option for me is to do the smartATO micro with one of my existing float switches as backup. For the tunze, I’d definitely go with the full size one/ optical with float.

2-3 quarts is a lot of water for my tank. It would be close to flooding. For reference, I’m using a 2 gallon reservoir and it takes almost 2 weeks to go through it.
