Get some suction cups, they really help a lot, I think the club has some you can borrow. 2 strongish guys should be able to lift a 120 gallon using the suction cups.

Surprisingly, all of the corals we left in the tank that I blacked out for 5 days look fine, no issues at all.

A lot of people consider it "rescuing" a fish if you buy it from Petco. I would definitely recommend having a good quarantine setup before purchasing a fish or coral from there.

If anyone gets this and also uses the method using the Red Sea Nitrate test and Hanna Phosphate ULR tester, I'd love to hear about how the 2 test results compared.

Do you test PH. Low PH was the issue causing my RTN/STN a while ago. Might be worth buying a cheap PH pen to just check every once in a while, really is the easiest thing to test.

WOW, literally couldn't disagree with this statement more. The BOD is a bunch a good hearted volunteers who I feel have been taking uncalled for abuse from people who won't volunteer their own time. This is the Bay Area, I don't think one member of the BOD needs to use their "power" to gain...

NeoNitro, but thinking of switching to food grade potassium nitrate (because it's cheaper) I started using it since I almost zero'd out my nitrates and wanted to barely dose nitrates through out the day to keep that from happening again I auto-dose 20ml per day (1.5ml 12x/day into my 800(ish)...

My vote, We should change this to "Tank of the Quarter/Season" and have people include progression shots throughout the 3 month period. Maybe also include some of their maintenance routine, dosing and feeding schedule, etc. Would put less pressure to find a new person every month.
