    Green cyano I think

Sicce syncra nano works well for smaller tanks.

    Green cyano I think

In order for it to go away on its own, the tank needs to have proper nutrient levels, a small population of good bacteria and good flow to keep it from settling onto any of the surfaces in the tank. In terms of helping it go away faster, get a small external pump that you can put an intake hose...

    The 225 Gal Monster

Decided to switch my Apex+Trident to my main display as I feel comfortable enough with my frag tank that I don't need the auto testing. Makes more sense to have this level of monitoring for the 225 while I get it back to former glory (or hopefully greater). Using ABC reagents over Neptune...

Reefing art plugs are a different beast

You're welcome. I'm always on the lookout for what tools I can use for reefing without paying "reefing tax".

Reefing art plugs are a different beast

Can just search end cutting pliers and a bunch of different ones will show up. All should hold up to the task. Just gotta make sure to try and keep them as dry as possible. Definitely don't recommend using them in the tank or under water.

Green tip torch is hellfire, light blue tip is jester and the dark blue tip is wolverine. Corals looking good!

    MY IM 170EXT

If you depend on the returns for surface agitation with RFGs you have position them very high/slightly out of the water which defeats the purpose of using them in my opinion. They are much better utilized pointing into the tank to randomize flow through the rockscape/corals in the direction you...

    My Zoa keep melting

I would do both h2o2 dip, then rinse with tank water then Seachem Reef Dip after. Carefully observing for anything that comes off in either dip. Also I would look into changing what salt you use so that you can lower your alkalinity level. 12dkh is very elevated and not recommended to keep...

    Eric's RSR 300xl build.

Aww man. I think euro brace is generally a better idea for larger tanks but still prefer the cleaner look of rimless.

Any gotchas in regards to a Kalk reservoir mixing pump?

Kalk does eat up pumps by causing premature wear very quickly which is why most use a kalk reactor (kalk stirrer) when trying to dose higher concentration than fully saturated.

    The 225 Gal Monster

Thanks for taking the picture and updating my journal for me! I should have you over more often Lol. My water yesterday definitely had quite a bit more micro bubbles and particulates in it that I wanted. I forgot about my ATO like usual and the return chamber was low for most of the day lol
