how are you rebooting the apex? i suggest you push the reset button instead of the power cycle. had that issue a few times and doing that helped.

sorry to hear about it. once u restart, let me know once you are ready again, and ill replace those sps you got from me.

i prefer the apex due to the monitoring and controlling abilities. the reagents for trident does get expensive ($104.95 for 6 months supply vs 59.00 abc 6 months), but its more as a peace of mind as protection when you have over $10k in high end sps/torches.

did u identify where the flatforms came from? are you doing any dipping with your current pieces to eradicate them slowly or you just going to wait until your wrasse comes in?

could be bristleworms... could be spaghetti worms... could also be a spionid (sp) worms... look at it at night and see with a flash light. if you need to know, take a turkey baster and try to suck one out into a cup and look at it. either way, i believe they are all good cuc.

the main process for QT tank is to observe and dip when needed. you dont have to dip every 4 days. you can dip every 12 - 16 days to limit the stress of the sps and you probably need to at least dip 3 times. you can do the bayer dip method. nothing i know kills the eggs, its mainly knocking...

can you hook up a tv and use a mount with a long arm extension and block the fish tank behind it?

pineapple sponges on the bottom glass... under the pump is another sponge. which kind, i dont know, maybe tunicate ??? either way, harmless filter feeders.
