    SPS Poylp Disease

This disease(assumption) never seems to fully go away in my tank. It appears to be exacerbated by carbon dosing. Usually lasts about 3-4 months. Coral pales out and polyps begin to bubble out like a bounce mushroom. Typically 1-2 sps affected at anytime and as it fades, a new coral gets it...

    Orange fungus/mucus/spot/sponge/something on Elegance

Interesting. Same thing is happening to mine right now. Patch has been there 1+ years but is growing.

Torch flesh peeling back from the bottom?

I have a number of sps that have encrusted the tube of vermetid snails. Those mucus nets have never caused a problem for a species that sensitive. I’ve stopped worrying about them a long time ago. Just my 2 cents. Just for clarity, I’m dealing with the small 1cm purple variety. I have never...

    Mounting suggestions

Solid idea, what should I search for on the Home Depot apps just aluminum bars? Any special grade or coating needed to stop it from getting in the water?

    Mounting suggestions

Looking for mounting advice. I have two led bars I wanted to add to each side, but given one side is underneath the cabinets it makes hanging difficult. Bars are 36 inches frag tank is 48. Here is what it looks like currently. Any ideas on ways to add them are appreciated.

JBJ chiller - cleaning with citric

Hi All, Looks like @Chromis might have used citric in the past to clean their chiller. Is there a verdict on best way to clean it? I didn’t see anything on their manual. Possible I missed it but it was only a few pages long.

    The Sodel Frag Tank

Got around to using the macro lens for a few pics. Could use some suggestions for names for the pair of rabbitfish. Below is a frag I bought from @dandemeyere a while back, thanks again!

Welcome to Gran Playa Del Mar

No material update. Nitrates are down to roughly 60ppm, down from 100ppm from the beginning of July. Slowly working them back down with water changes. Po4 is >6ppm. Carbon dosing hasn’t done much to maintain the levels, but that’s not surprising given the tank is only a few months old...

    The Sodel Frag Tank

Nothing crazy been going on in the Frag tank. Changed the T5 coral plus bulbs to actinic, to potentially solve the brown polyp issue that has plagued me for close to a year. I haven’t been able to determine that cause and it’s not all coral. No changes to nutrients or the big three since the...

But you run 2 actinic 2 blue plus bulbs on that tank, right?

    Requesting Tenuis polyp Pictures

Hi All, This is a pretty narrow request, but I’m looking for people that run t5 hybrid (2x coral plus & 2 blue plus bulbs with led. If you have this lighting system I would love to see some pictures of your tenuis so I could learn a bit more.

    The Sodel Frag Tank

Pretty happy with the stability. Knock on wood that doesn’t change. Everytime I write or say this sentence something freaking breaks. DKH moves about .13-.17 a day and PH runs 8.32-8.72. Disregard the calibration around the 19th, it skews the swing a little bit. Only issue I’m having is...
