I think so. My goal is to have at least 4-5 items for the raffle but the more the merrier so if you have any connections I don’t definitely feel free to see what you can get as well. Places I’ve reached out too are. Sicce(confirmed) Reef nutrition Kessil Aqua UV(Confirmed) Marine Depot Neptune...

My DMs went out this morning so responses haven’t trickled in yet but so far there will be an ultra zero from Sicce on the table which I think is pretty cool. I’ll be hitting up AC and Netptunes this weekend but will keep updating this thread as things become official.

I’ve been debating using your donation for this swap or saving it for the bigger swap where it would gather more tickets. Unless there’s 2 we can get a year but if I remember correctly it’s 1 a year? Or since we skipped covid year maybe we can double up this year?

Let’s go!!!! Really excited for this to finally come around and thanks to @sfsuphysics for gathering all the pieces. I have reached out to a bunch of companies to get a decent raffle table setup and will make my LFS tours this weekend to see if they are willing to contribute as well. So when it...

    Top off reservoir ideas

Petco is doing a 50% off thing right now. So a 20 gallon tank is 25 bucks, snag the matching glass lid and you got a 20 gallon reservoir for under 50$.

Thanks! This tank has certainly surpassed any expectations of what my harem tank would look like. Beyond stoked to watch this thing fill in.

Well everything’s settled in and the nems are becoming more open. The yellow tang is beyond pleased to have this much room and I’m finally happy to get her out of the 40 breeder as this is by far a better forever home.

Good to know, wasn’t sure but I’ve used lifegard pumps in the past and they were definitely decent for the price.

That’s how I I did it. Got a 1 gallon jug and timed how long it took to fill, then maths, close enough haha.

Help with dinoflagellate ID and process

It’s not too small and will work. Most things I’ve read require 180,000µw/cm2 to actually disrupt the dna of protozoan so with that size uv and about 30-35 gallons of water involved a flow rate of 100-150gph should be a good place to start. I’m hoping others can chime in and maybe we can get a...
