Use a DC controllable pump so you can adjust the flow to the rate you need. I used a small Jebaoe DCP that I had on hand but anything controllable should work really. What I did was filled a measured bucket and used a timer to figure out the gallons per hour flow rate I was getting.

The most effective way would be to get a return pump in your display and you can connect it to your UV with tubing and then tubing for output back into display. It’s going to look ugly but it’s temporary

Ostreopsis dinoflagellates I tried a bunch of things for this when I had it, UV did the trick in around 10 days they were all gone. I’d just jump straight to UV. Make sure it’s setup properly, display to display, and 3W / 1 Gallon minimum
