Most of the crabs are black and white but 3 are darker, like this one.

@Coral reefer, what inspired you change the tank from a reef tank to a seahorse tank? Did the kids want seahorses?

If you would like to have a fresh clean tank when starting out, you can clean that old coraline algae from the overflow towers using dilute muriatic acid. It works super fast. Just spray it on and wait 10 minutes then wipe all the dead coraline off. You can get muriatic acid (HCl) from pool...

I agree. I've done 2 to 3 times the recommended dose, daily for 5 days and it seemed to stop the problem. There were no known side effects.

I'm going to check this place out one day. How are the prices? What are the black boxes hanging from the ceiling? fans? speakers?
