Beautiful big frag! Thanks for letting me know the conditions that lead to your goniopora thriving. My orange goni colony was doing great... really extension, until I put it too close to a brain/maze coral whose sweepers caused the goni polyps to retract.

I had this problem several months ago. A couple of days of no light, plus siphoning/water changes really helped the DF disappear.

I got a frag of the Hollywood Stunner from a store in S.D. in the spring. It grows faster than most chalices, and has cool green & yellow coloring! Mine is also at the bottom of a 24" tall tank, under 250w halides. Mario's frag looks very healthy... the purple edges show the new growth.

I have a bunch of 18 gallon Rubbermaid bins with lids that work really well for transporting live rock and big coral colonies... Can loan you at least 6 for your move, as well as some stackable 5 gallon jugs with screw on lids. I am in SSF.

Kinetic, does your auto feeder have a ring underneath it, to prevent the pellets from falling into the overflow? Would you recommend the feeder ring that you are using?

Wow, cool rock structure! Is there enough room from the sides of the tank to slide a magnet cleaner? I have a couple of spots in my tank where the rocks settled too close to the acrylic sides.

Like Mario, I decided the blue 7 gallon was too heavy, after filling it completely with RO water and lifting it... almost like those huge buckets of Salinity salt! I ended up getting the green 6 gallon vertical rectangular water containers that fit well in the car & hide next to my nano stand...
