Yeah, it's algae I can't fight off and keeps coming back so quickly... manual removal, water changes... and it returns. It's probably the bulb. I'll probably have to get another bulb immediately. This cleaning is killing me :) 250W SE

Hey Folks, I haven't changed bulbs that many times, but my tank is acting up some. What are the signs you look for in your tank to determine if your bulb really needs to be changed? Are most 250w users using radiums? How long do they last? Thanks, - Herman

I know ritz isn't usually the best place to get stuff price wise and service, but if they have what you're looking for at a comparable price to other stores... that 10% kicks butt now :) Don't know how long it lasts so check it out now.

I am not a fan of plugs because I think it's really hard to get the polyps off. If you're lucky you can scrape under or break the plug. I'd try a dremel if you have one. Otherwise I typically try to use a scalpel and get under them. You'll need to be selective where you want to try cutting...

That sucks! I recently found some chewing on some of my zoas/palys! I've now been scared of any of them :P Harlequins can keep them in check huh?

Hey Folks, I have been thinking about trying to add a small aquafuge to my tank. It's 37g, but I've been trying some SPS. Would people say that a refugium should be required, highly recommended, recommended, could go either way, not recommended? :P My tank will still primarily be zoa/paly...

It's always a tough call.... balancing work and family... looking at how much time and money you have to go into everything... You have to figure out what you like about the hobby really. If you like the tinkering and figuring stuff out, that definitely takes time. If you just like a cool...

I thought the swap was great too! It was nice to see some familiar faces and nice to see some new folks. There were definitely a ton of SPS lovers out there... Not coverting from my favorite zoas/palys, but I will try to grow a few... now to figure out which ones I want to keep :)

LE is definitely overrated. We just need to keep passing the corals along through trades, fragswaps, and etc. Once it's out there enough, people won't really think LE means anything and hopefully it'll phase out... I prefer items with people's names more than LE :P The people's names just...

Just wanted to say thanks to the BOD and any memebers who helped for putting it together. I think the swap was pretty nice... with a wide range of rare corals and regular corals and of course lots of cool reefers. Well done. - Herman
