questions on (lack of) airflow, cooling fans and other related matters

If anything you would want to control humidity right by having good ventilation right? Like how Ben was talking about that nightmare tank he worked on that had zero hood ventilation and had lots of corrosion and wood breakdown. This will increase your evap so keep that in mind. Probably will...

    DIY chemical solutions

I've used it for 25+ years, no issue. Just don't use the box that's been soaking up your fridge funk.

    ThePhoReefer’s IM25 Lagoon 2.0

Might not see much of a pH bump at night Danh with AFR dosing since it's actually going to drop things a bit as the bacteria metabolize it. Have you tried using a CO2 meter in the restaurant? I figure it might get high when you're cooking and there's lots of patrons.

Vermetid snail quarantine. How long before they stop spawning?

I've found hemostats work well for crushing them. Haven't seen them take hold in my main tank. Not sure if that's the copperband or the urchins keeping them in control.

    Alex’s IM 150 EXT

Channeling Jake Adams here: there's no such thing as a yellow coris wrasse. There's the yellow wrasse AKA Halichoeres chrysus: and the yellow and purple wrasse Halichoeres leucoxanthus: The main difference is the white belly and the fact they live in the Indian Ocean. Both pictures are...

    Alex’s IM 150 EXT

FWIW there's tons of different flatworm species so biological control might only work for some. I didn't have any luck against either the noxious red planaria type (that doesn't go into corals) and euphyllia specific flatworms with these fish: Spotted mandarin Yellow wrasse Pink streak wrasse...
