Looking to get some pretty simple cabinets installed in the kitchen (2 cabinets) and laundry room (3 cabinets). Space where cabinets are going is currently empty so no old cabinets to rip out. Anyone with any referrals or recommendations for someone that can do this kinda work.
Maybe it’s the picture quality or the murky water in the bucket, but what’s on the rock looks nothing to me like what TBS said it is. Glad you got it sorted though
My experiences with encrusting sponges, pretty much all that I’ve come across is that they tend to spread quickly, tend to smother stuff (including corals), and if you remove them, but miss even the slightest bit of it, it’ll grow back
Aquascaping workshop. Collect a couple hundred pounds of small/medium dry rock. Bring your own rock. Cement, glue, epoxy, whatever else people use as a best practice to bond rock. Build structures. Take em home. Learn different/best practices.
I told them just this. Minus the leaky part. I was told it would be covered. Never had to use it (knock on wood) so can’t speak to what the claims process looks like or if the recant what was told to me.
Lemonade + pick the tenant water damage add on and the amount of coverage. I’d call for yourself to confirm what you’ve described is covered. This is what I have and when I first got the insurance, I was told I am covered. But the aquarium itself, tank, livestock, equipment, etc. are not.
@SupraSaltyReefer 1hr a month is hardly a commitment. I’d be willing to commit that time if there was buy in and it meant a better more streamlined swap for everyone.
@MarcosD I took @Srt4eric’s comment from this morning as responsive to yours. Sounds like for Q4, we were coming up to the...
I’ve floated the idea before, and still think quarterly or semi-annual open floor meeting outside of the BOD meetings, via zoom or in person, open to BOD and supporting members (and maybe even members generally), would be helpful. Pick a date each quarter. Have anonymous Q&A option to submit...
I’ve suggested it before, but I think we need a frag swap committee (perhaps consisting of 1-3 BOD members and 2-4 non-BOD supporting members) who are collectively willing to make the frag swaps better than they already are (and they’re already a great event) and reach decisions (in a...
This is the dude on R2R in case you’re on there. Probably worth a call if you were interested in videoing him to see what he has. He seems to be open to people doing that. Based on his latest thread sounds like he has a fresh shipment coming in soon.
There were definitely a few other similar sized ones as well. With mushrooms so small it just becomes difficult to determine if they fit the criteria of a bonus/ultra, especially if someone argues they are bouncing. Hopefully you didn’t feel unfairly treated for what you brought in vs how many...
I agree with a lot of the suggestions, gold, peach, splatter hammers should all come off. Jaw breakers should be bonus. Tequila sunrise should come off. Probably other tweaks that can/should be made.
I think when it comes to shrooms there has to be some kind of size expectation, at least approx...
