That doesn't make sense to me - if the phosphate was being used up, it wouldn't be testing high. I think chasing phosphate to deal with algae is tilting at windmills.

Both that and your salinity could be causing what you are seeing in your mushrooms. Why are you running your salinity that low? it is too low for corals

They live a year -18 months. They are not easy. I would recomment S. bandensis first.

Hey V! What is your pH now and have you yet tested co2 in the house? I wouldn't do anything without those numbers. That said, I have found an air pump outside to be much more effective than just a passive airline. And you can bubble just into the sump rather than the skimmer - most gas exchange...

Do you want it for looks?

If it is just for looks use the Kessil. If you want to do that actual moon stuff you’ll need to get the apex or program something - and the brightness isn’t really great for viewing.
