I have kept a lot of mangroves. Mostly the problme with fresh or saltwater is moving them from one to the other. If you are going to keep them fresh get some that have been raised in fresh, salt salt. They need more light than you think. The roots don't need to be in substrate, they grow fine...

It is a terrible time of year to ship animals in bags of water. I try not to do it at all until the spring, but specially not between thanksgiving and new years. Its way cold, and all shipping gets goofy.

Or check how the led string goes into the LSM and then put any light with that plugh and wattage into the LSM

Easiest way is to replace the leds in the LSM with white leds. Jamie did that for a few years, then stopped because the color of the light doean't seem to matter. It seemed a pretty straightforward replacement.
