AI-based Management of Aquarium stuff is crazy cool [Hydros, EcoFlow, ReefBeat, HomeAssistant]

That is all pretty amazing but still out of reach for 95% of people. I wouldn’t even know where to start. I suppose I could figure it out especially with an AI tutor… Also a little scary that current AI’s that aren’t even designed to be aggressive can figure out how to penetrate systems so...

    Breeding Berghia

For me, live baby brine shrimp was the key. Emphasis on live. Once the Aiptasia colony was going full density, I fed them VERY heavy, like clouding the water, every 2 days or so. If you feed non-live food then you will have to feed way less and do a lot of water changes.

    Trustworthy?

I think if you give it away no-strings, it’s gone. I see people on here get upset on a regular basis when they give something away and aren’t happy with what happens next. It’s like they have some unwritten/unspoken rule in their head that is getting violated, or that they still feel like they...

    Make $$$ breeding Berghia Nudibranchs!

Yes, turkey baster for transfers at home, and I would give people one of those small plastic transfer pipettes with the tip cut off.

    Breeding Berghia

I tried lots of different options for feeding the Aiptasia tanks. By far the best was live baby brine shrimp. The ones from Aquarium Coop with the Ziss hatchery is the best and easiest way. If you feed non-live food like reef roids or whatever it just pollutes the tank so fast you are doing...

    Make $$$ breeding Berghia Nudibranchs!

I should have done this and given away my setup to someone in the club. I sold everything for basically nothing plus a ton of work to someone already doing it, and then he stopped.

Bump! I’m not on the Board anymore but plan to attend. I’d encourage anyone interested in seeing how their club works and decides things to attend. If you have a particular issue you’d like to see addressed and voice your opinion about it, let Eric know.

    Need berghia nudibranch

Berghia will eat any size of Aiptasia but they start with the small ones and hidden ones. I’ve watched them eat big ones many many times.

    Alternative Trident Calibration Solution

You can do that but another way is to test with Salifert or whatever you trust then use the results you get to calibrate the Trident, intake tube still in your tank, so it reads the same.

    Homewrecker

Did you actually transfer (ie you gave away everything you had) or just give him a frag of it?

    Main Drain Clogged?

Yeah sounds like your main drain pipe is at least partially clogged. You could try to snake it but more likely you’ll have to take it apart and clean it out. It’s a PITA. In the current situation you not only have the annoying noise but also loss of the safety of the extra pipe.

Brand new sealed box core 7 reagents

I did for years, until fairly recently. Actually I think their 3-part is the best around, when I used only Triton my tank was doing great. Now I’m experimenting with other options and frankly not as happy. But stubborn. So I’ll pass on this and someone else can try it. Don’t worry about their...
