Actual Fiji Live Rock Imported Again

What was the avg cost delivered back then if you recall? I imagine now it would likely be 3 times as much. Yet would be cool to get the real stuff if the current prices aren't absurd.

Magnetic stirrer? Left Picture is the stirrer plate, right is the little magent that spins the liquid around. (Most plates come with at least one of those) Glass breaker actually optional though I bought a set of multiple sizes pretty cheap. As long as container isn't much bigger than plate...

    Lineatus at Cali Kids today

This is intresting. Probably impossible to prove. But being a guy seeing a contender lol I can easily imagine it bringing out the natural male competitive side. All that to say I honestly can imagine this possibly being true in some ways.

RSVP by 4/24 for the 4/26 SUNDAY frag swap in Newark

It would be good information in a perfect setup. Yet remember how small most of these cups are. Just having enough room to include the required information is challenging for some. Chain of custody wouldn't be practical in most cases. If member who contributed it name is on the cup as...

    Dealing with lyngbya

Update day two: Reef flux- no noticeable change since yesterday Chemi clean- the mass seems slightly less dense and can observe some separation but no actual breakdown. Azithromycin - it seems thinner than yesterday more indivual strands are visible Peroxide- the water seems slightly...

Off Topic - Other Clubs and Groups

All good, understandable. As long as it isn't something illegal or obscenely immoral. I don't think any here would mind at all. I've previously worked for in home support services a county based agency in San mateo several years ago. I also cooked at a retirement home for former catholic...

    Little clownfish culls?

If it's angler fish they are ambush predators meaning the fish need to swim near them. They won't chase them down like other predators. So it would ideally be a saltwater fish that won't die in mins just due to tank conditions temperature or trying to use a freshwater bait fish.

Good idea! I'll see what I can do next update.

    Bonding nem and clown

Also a separate note. I don't care for the force them in it with a tube/ large pipe method Because if your clowns never hosted a nem they won't be immune to the nems sting. This is something they build up over time by rubbing against them some even nibble on the tips of the nems. My largest...

    Dealing with lyngbya

Ugh didn't know that. Hopefully if lights from other tanks in the room wouldn't be a issue if they aren't directly over the tank? I will turn them off in the morning over the 210.

    Bonding nem and clown

Soon or later they will find it give it time. Or tape a Pic of a clown in a nem onto the tank. Sounds crazy but have heard people in videos say it has worked.

    Dealing with lyngbya

Day 2 experiment casual observations. Reef flux - shows partly cloudy water, a few dead pods and the mass still seems to be to be holding tightly together. No signs of potential breakdown. Holds together under its own weight Chemi clean- surprisingly clear water, a few dead pods. The mass...

    Little clownfish culls?

I understood what you were asking for and assumed most did. In hind sight i didn't think he did given his post. I probably also should have explained the difference.

    Bar lights and room lights

So it would be safe even without ground? It would be to swap a light in our long hall way and maybe one in the kitchen. Both have on off standard wall switches wired to them.

    Dealing with lyngbya

Keeping that option in the filling cabinet for now. If antibiotic doesn't work. That would likely be the next attempt. After that only other options would be live with it or a full of partial tank restart. I should know in. Few days if this stuff has any effect. If I go with silicates I'll...

    Bar lights and room lights

Cool, unfortunately I'll have to pass I keep forgetting I have old wiring with only 2 wires. It would take extra steps to hook these up in a safe way.
