I think they are very similar to the distaco design. I researched them a few years ago. But didn’t pull the trigger on a 2k calcium reactor.

I took it apart. It’s actually pretty simple design. I think I can do it on the cheap. Just don’t know if it was worth the effort as it’s an older design. I would hate to be into it for a hundred and a bunch of hours just to find out there’s a flaw in the design

Hello. I’m about to jump into a calcium reactor in about 6 months. Boun gave me a carbon doser v1. After checking it out. The solenoid is bad. I can rebuild it. I’m just wondering if it’s worth the effort, time and money or they not very good. As I don’t have much experience with them.
