Custom Tank Cover / Lids - Wrasse ready - Recommendations and Lessons Learned

I went back to check out the progress reports and this is actually week 7 of production, so the drawing process took 5 weeks. Ya, 6-8 weeks seems long to me, so I went through their updates to see what was going on: Week 1 - approved drawing Week 2 - cut lid and quality check Week 3 - in queue...

Custom Tank Cover / Lids - Wrasse ready - Recommendations and Lessons Learned

I have a custom Top Lids on order that should be shipping soon. I can upload a picture once I get it. The initial quote was double my budget, after removing the add-ons it was $50 over my budget. I still bit on a couple of the add-on's; food regulator cup, it's shipping (see gripes) and the...

Anyone seen non-frozen mysis in LFS?

Thanks L/B Block, I'll order some of the Nyos and see if it will go for that. I ordered the Aquaforest liquid mysis and it wasn't quite what I expected. I feed through a doser and I don't see shrimp come out. There are small bits, but nothing that looks like the mysis I'm used to seeing. The...

Anyone seen non-frozen mysis in LFS?

Thanks for the suggestion. That was going to be my last resort, I was concerned the CBB would get used to that method and then wouldn't eat the mysis once it's available again. Anyone seen non-frozen mysis in LFS?

Any chance someone recalls seeing Nyos Chromys or Aquaforest Liquid Mysis at a LFS? It seems Reef Nutrition Mysis Feast is unavailable right now. I had the Mysis Feast on a dosing pump for the past 11 months and now my Copperband thinks it is entitle to non-frozen mysis. At first it would...

    Whats this food called?

Oh, I would think they should mention that on their website or in product descriptions. On the BRS page someone asked if it needed to be refrigerated and they said no. I suppose they meant before opening.

    Whats this food called?

I think searched the terms liquid mysis and liquid brine. I probably would have overlooked this one on since it doesn't say mysis in the name.

    Whats this food called?

Wish I new about this stuff last month. I would have tried it out before I made a refrigerated auto feeder. The 2 minute wait is just to get a feeding response before target feeding, according to the BRS site.
