I am looking for help to move @DaddyHook 180 gallon tank 6’x 2’x 5’ from Vallejo 94589 to San Jose 95124. Will need like four people and a truck. This weekend or next weekend works wonderful

I don't think a truck will be able to move a tank that size in one trip. Tank, stand and sump? Two trucks, or truck and trailer or UHaul will be needed.
@DaddyHook the tank is pretty much attached to the stand right? If that's the case @Woeday you need a uhual. I can help with a truck next Saturday but we still need a uhual.
Why did I think daddyhook was only giving away a 180 gallon stand. Not the aquarium and stand.

The bay is headed to a long stretch of rain..carrying anything glass and heavy in the rain can get messy. You may want to consider the weekend after Thanksgiving if it can wait.
I can't help that Sunday but I can the day before.
^^ Define attached to the stand? Pics? Can they be seperated or is it literally one piece, built-in?
They have become one over time. When I helped move it to vallejo we tried to seperate but it couldn't be done.
pallet jack(s) + u-haul, otherwise a lot of backs are about to get ruined!
@Woeday are there stairs involved?

How many people did it take to lift the one piece up into the truck?
Did you just lift from the bottom of stand?
Numerous companies rent material lifters there about 100 a day but still have to muscle lift onto them
@robert4025 may have more info using the material lifters

The good thing is its a mostly open stand.
It doesn't have doors or panels on all sides. The height of it on the stand is the tricky bit. Likey you would have to lift from the stand. If there are furniture dollies capable of supporting the weight it would be easy to move around.
I don't think there are any steps involved on either side of the move. Beyond probably 1-2 door way Transitions.
The Pick up side is in a garage right in front of the garage door so fairly straight foward.
Depending on the time frame I should be able to help on the southbay side of the move.

I rented a box uhaul with a ramp. After attempting to separate them we gave up. We lifted onto furniture dolly’s and rolled it up the ramp. I rachet strapped it to the wall of the truck. My driveway has a small incline and the tank is at the edge of the garage. Should be a little easier getting onto the truck on the Vallejo side.
Daymn. That’s gonna be a super hard move.
