3D print plugs

A thought:
Could you print a plug with a little clip or something, to hold it in the usual plastic light grids we use in frag tanks?
Seems possible.
And having it solidly clip in would make it superior to the usual ceramic ones.

As a bonus, plastic is less likely to have unwanted pests on/in it.
And it is likely easier to remove encrusting corals.

That’s a nice frag plug! Might be hard to take the frag off the plug after it encrusts though, unless you just cut through the plastic I guess
 
Hmm, that is pretty slick.

If we order quite a few, it is might be better to do design + 1 run on a personal machine, then pay to get a bulk run.
 
well we can find out, but i know that its easier to clean off the algae off the plastic than the cheap frags we normally get.
