40gl Innovative Marine mixed reef

Hey guys what’s up, it’s been a long time since I’ve posted here. Was out of the hobby for awhile but jumped back in a couple years ago. Anyway here are some pics of my current 40gl mixed reef tank. Unfortunately I had a velvet battle, I was able to add fish to the tank on thanksgiving after 78 days fallow, so I am thankful, lol. Everyone is happy and healthy.

The growth on this asd rainbow for 2 months is great! You can also see the growth on a Cali tort behind it.

Right on. I’ve had this forever lol, but I love it. Fleece roller was nice addition!!!

Out with the old and in with the new! Here is a pic from before with the custom hanging canopy I built with fans and what not. And then here is a pic of the new XR15 and the XHO reefbrite add in kit. Oh ya and I added 5lbs a new sand after rescaping the bottom a bit.

I lost them, so sad! I raised them from about 1/4 inch size for about 6 months then moved them to my 40gl reef , they were doing great for a month then I made a boneheaded mistake with a water change and my salinity went way out of wack! Good idea to always check salinity before and after even if you’ve been reefing for a thousand years! Lost my blue spot jawfish as well. So sad
