I don't believe it is a 2:1 - That is their new premium membrane. I found the info on the FilmTec, it is rated 75GPD @ 50 PSI but claims an additional 20% uplift at 60PSI. I definitely think that the membrane is nowhere near 100% sitting so long, but certainly still usable.

Anyway, to improve it, Mike is right on the money; two membranes and a booster will take care of that.

For anyone that is interested, I was doing some research on membranes because I thought $60 for SpectraPure's 99% was ridiculous, and of course I was right

This membrane is 99% rejection rate at 75GPD @ 50 PSI (90 GPD @ 60PSI) and you can pick it up on Amazon for less than $30 prime. On paper this is a better membrane than their standard version and for less money...
