St. Patrick's day is over.
Yesterday I went to McDonald's to buy my girl one of those green shakes; they were out of 'em on St. Patrick's day...
Well, today after Home Depot, stopped at Daly City McD's, they were out; drove home. I took the Alemany exit, McD's on Bayshore Blvd. Parked and went in.
Me__ How much are the shamrock shakes?
Lady__Oh, they are mint flavor
Me again_How much are they?
Lady__Well, it depends... there's small, medium o large...
Me__How much is the medium?
Lady__Well, we don't have them.

I gave her a bad look and a "What the hell..."
 
hehehe

that's when you need to fire back with the snide remark, not because you're trying to be an ass but just to maybe have her reflect on the conversation, something along the lines of "If you would have started with that I could have been halfway home by now"
 
Or just keep a list of all their seasonal items and just roll into ordering those:

Oh, ok, I'll have a mcrib. No?
Oh, ok, I'll have a pumpkin spice shake. No?
Oh, ok, I'll have a candy cane shake. No?
Oh, ok, I'll have the brontosaurus nuggets. No?
Oh, ok, I'll have the pluto is a planet burger.
