A t5 ballast?

Hmmm.. I might change my configuration. where can I find t5 ballasts in general for aquariums in the bay area?

Well, I have some 96W PC ballasts that will fire 2x54w T5s. As for buying your own, just pay the extra and buy IceCap from ReefGeek. Or, you could possibly get one here:

There are many ballasts available in the Bay Area, heck HD even sells some. But, you'll be happier in the long run with IceCaps.

HD only sells T8 and T12 ballasts....

yeah. I went by HD today.. and no go. The suggested An electrical supply store.. or granger.. but the later is quite hefty in thier prices..

I'm not a big fan of icecap either, yeah they're nice, but I have 54w T5 bulbs for a reason, that being they take 54watts of power and last the length that T5 bulbs last, not 80watts and half the life.

Look for Fulham workhorse ballast, WH5 for 2 bulbs, WH7 for 4 bulbs
