I know that there's a couple on here who are heading to Pleasanton to see Erik to check out some of his corals. Took these yesterday while over there.

This is what his Palmer's blue prostrata looks like.

His lokani. One of his nicer pieces that he isn't fragging (growing it out as a larger colony).

Don't know the lineage of this one, but rather nice.

His centerpiece. Beautiful granulosa that he's trying to recover; it hasn't been doing too well.

Another favorite of his. Not sure what it is, but quite nice with a thinner structure.

Aquascene/icefire echinata. One of the larger colonies that I've seen. Partial colony picture.

LE superman monti in the shade.

A very nice table; either an efflo or a soli (forgot to ask).

Man that is a nice tank  ... What is that thing on the upper right hand corner Eric? Anemone??

I can't stop drooling. When am I going to get a bigger tank?
There is a dude selling a 210G tank Bryan LOL ..

Yup, it's one of his rose anemones. He's selling it I believe.

Phong, too bad you don't have the resources to set up your 210 gallons. That's pretty close in size to the 225 above. ;)

Actually, I have nominated Erik's tank for RC's TOTM about a week or so. So let's support that nomination. We need TOTM from Bay Area ... and I think Erik deserve it .... :)

Man I know people are drooling at the corals, and it's really hard to see in the picture, but it looks like the rock/cave work is really intricate. Definitely one of the things in my "Probably will never get done, semi-dream" tank is to make sure I am absolutely pleased with the rockwork beyond a shadow of doubt, that attaching it in a way similar to above.

Where do you vote Roy? Can you link it...

Doug,

Here is the nomination that I submitted:
http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1314211

The base rockwork is a couple of very large pieces of branch rock. The rest of the rockwork was stacked on top of them and epoxied into place. The base stuff is about as thick as I've seen. I saw part of the exposed portion on the bottom and it was at least as thick as my wrist.

Ouch, so much for Fluke tabs for mass AEFW treatments. I didn't get a chance to read the whole thread but was he actively trying to rid himself of them? Or was this a preventative measure?
Not so fast there Mike, I've used Fluke Tabs many times on Acros without any problems. Check out the thread and you might learn a little more about what happened. Erik has AEFW.

I read the last couple pages and still can't figure out what happened, did he treat too many and when rotten apple spoiled the bunch? Did he move them to that holding container to quickly?
