phong yeah, I've been through some rough time lately with my personal life... but its over now and I am getting back into it again. How the heck are ya ?
the fit is a huge part of your enjoyment. For me, the roubaix was perfect. It was very comfortable (frame geometry + fit) and seemed to do a really good job at soaking up road vibration (full carbon frame + dampeners in the frame)
If you aren't going to race, or unless you feel super rich, the S-works may be a bit much (and $$$)
Gimme his wheelset
I wanted to get a used bike for economic reasons, but for my first bike, I wanted to make sure the fit was perfect etc. Also, the shot I got it from is top notch, and building up a relation ship with your bike mechanic is pretty important if you tend to ride a lot.
Picked up a used 2001 Litespeed Arenberg last night; loving the feel of Ti so far. Came with ultegra components w/compact crank, Reynolds carbon fork, Velocity aerohead wheels with Hugi 240 DT Swiss hubs, and a pretty comfy Fi'zik Aliante saddle. My bro is overhauling it today so it'll be ready for the road this weekend.
Too out of shape to be riding Calaveras. Last ride was Hostetter down to Piedmont, right to Sierra and then loop back all the way to Calaveras for the loop.
Yup. good rides out here. I too am out of shape, but working on it. Right now biking every-other-day into work and that will change to every day. Also doing rides on the weekend.
Ibn, u live in the Hostetter area? LMK I live around there. I'll take you on a couple of my fav loops if so... you gonna be at the meeting on Sat? If so, grab me there and we can chat
Cheers

I used the ride that a lot, Eric. Sometimes to work, too. You're gonna fall in love with Ti!
