Having a backup resident long time club member that understands how it’s built/works is valuable. People come and go. If the webmaster goes unexpectedly we really would be smart to have someone who can fill in briefly in a pinch and help get the next person up to speed

Thanks everyone for the interest and offers to help. Last night Pablo, Eric, Thomas, and I had a nice Zoom call with Eric @yosemiteclimber to discuss the position and to see if it might be a good match. He is very experienced and knowledgeable, and also seems enthusiastic to help!

The official Board position starting in Jan will need to go through the usual member voting etc like all our positions. But the Board voted to give him access to be able to see under the hood now and maybe fix a few things for us.
