Yes, I am arounds today except for a 3pm appointment. its clean.

@FreahSaltyGuy you can always soak the chaeto in rodi for 20 min to "clean" it

I wouldn’t bother throwing it in right away to a new system. Likely won’t be enough nutrients to allow it to grow ime

I started with a ton of live rock from an existing system no not really new new. Already have Nitrates at 10.

Needs phosphates as well, and nitrates at 10 is great. You really don’t need to be trying to lower them yet imo. Zero is not good

Alternative take, if you get some chaeto early, you have the benefit of being able to do a major ro dip to kill crap on it and don't need to be worried about die off. I'm not sure it helps with ich trophonts/eggs, but it's what I do whenever I get macro.

The middle ground then is get it, dip it, and control the light interval to avoid bottoming out nutrients. I'm not sure the minimum interval for chaeto, but you could figure it out

Benefit is one more place for a bunch of pods to grow.

Yes have 3 clowns, 1 Midas blenny in there and some blue/red hermits and 2 cleaner shrimp

He had his live rocks sitting in a container with heater/flow for awhile before getting the tank up and running. I'm assuming phos is from some die off from the rocks or the rocks itself leeching from previous setup depending on what their phos levels were at.
