Hey BAR, I have been out of the hobby for a couple years now and was formerly on the BOD for Central Valley Reefers. Recently picked up a IM Nuvo 10 and am looking forward to filling it with some LPS/Zoas. A IM Ghost skimmer is on its way along with a DIY LED build will be happening soon.

Current Equipment
Kessil H150

Current stock
Rainbow Nem

Yup, that look through the window definitely doesn't look like the central valley surburban areas :D Reminds me of my view a bit :D

Welcome though, any overall grand plans for the tank? Just an anemone cube?

haha I was just thinking the same thing about his window view. Looks a lot like SF neighborhood. A far ways from the Central valley. Welcome to BAR

Grand plans?! Of course I have a grand plan, fill it with as many corals as I can! Likely sticking with zoas, chalices, acans. SPS will be too hard in such a small tank.

I'm looking forward to not fighting the 100+ temps that the valley brought.

I see sunlight hitting that tank, depending upon how long that happens that definitely can raise the temperature of a tank that small.

It hits it for a few hours early in the morning but I can close the shades to block it and there's a fan over the tank

A little FTS Friday!

Not sure where I'm taking the tank, but the macro algae backdrop is nice. Annoyed that the real reef rock I got exploded with hair algae, seems to be dying off though.

Kicked the hair algae and getting a handle on some pale corals from over lighting with my LED build. I'm hoping to add more livestock so the bioload will bump up a bit and help the LPS.

Yes the clown is all up in the anemone, feeds it and everything. I'm hoping to find another captive bred clown to pair with her (ORA blood orange clown ocellaris/maroon hybrid)
