ATO siphon issue - how to fix?

Also if you use kalkwasser you can dose the approximate amount of evaporative loss you have so that you almost never need to have your ATO on, decreasing noise/risk.

I’ve been running it like you mention for the last year with the ato turned off. I run a small fan to force more evap if I notice too much is dosing. Not very often.

My Versa doses more when the container it pulls from has more volume in it. I don't know if that is a versa issue or standard. It pulls/pushes RO into the kalk reactor.

Do not know how the siphon can clog if only the purest water flows through it. But I trust that this happened to folks and I will consider this in the next upgrade.

On a related note - the Hydros ATO comes actually with its own siphon breaker. But I have already installed the Red Sea one now since I did not know that. Pretty happy with the siphon breaker and will keep the residual risk in mind.
