Back from MACNA - with mutant clown fish

It was really fun. I got a couple for corals that don't seem to have made it out here yet AFAIK - strawberry shortcake acro and crocodile eye chalice. To DBTC ASAP!

I also got a sweet little pair of Wyoming White clowns. I plan on removing some shelves near my reef and plumbing a smaller tank into the system for them, getting a magnifica and jumping into clown breeding when the get big enough.

BTW, I love us as a club. BAR is so different than most!

Out of curiosity how knowledgeable are the vendors about the hobby in general? Or are they simply knowledgeable about the products they're selling, what they do, but no real reason (other than made up ones) about why it's good for the tank?

Caty's Dad's fish (the Wyoming white strain) is pretty to look at (sorry Vince).
Also, they're ocellaris, not percs like the plats. And I hear they breed true!

Katy isn't it? Had long long talks with her at the bar and during the show. Quite a who's who at MACNA this year.

I put out several hundred BAR DBTC flyers (all gone at end of show just about) and spoke the program up and down to anyone who would listen. I think BAR will be hearing from other clubs wanting to follow the lead, as well as doing trades with BAR like we did with MR Just trying to build the super Red Bug/AEFW :lol:
