Hello all, maybe some of you remember me my name Im Derek and I use to work at a few LFS in San Francisco like Nippon, Ocean Treasures and Aquatic Central from about 2000 to 2014 or so. I was rather young back then , learned from the OGs at Nippon and helped run Ocean Treasures with ordering, maintenace and servicing along with sales. It's been a long time maybe 10 years since I had my last Tank lol. Recently just got back into the hobby with a 150 gallon reef setup I got from Daniel who took over the servicing side after OT closed down.
It's been crazy getting back into the hobby as so much has changed from Equipment, automation, pricing and for me the ridiculous naming of corals lol. Times have changed but its exciting again to get back into the hobby.
If any of you have any questions about the old days or want to know what corals and fish use to go for drop me a message lol. Excited to be back in the hobby and help contribute to fellow reefers out there again.
