Come on, my tank opening is MUCH larger, both you and Denzil could fit in there at the same time no problem!![]()
Very cool project!!
What I get a kick out of is how fast it went from a terrible mess to what appears to have coral in it!
And this is from Jim, who took ... lets say "a little while" ... to get water in his tank.

How long did it take to do all that? Was waiting for the rocks/cement to cure the long waiting period? Or did you knock this out in a couple weekends?
See Jim, you should have done your tank build like that, wait for it to be almost done, then start posting
But yeah, it always takes more time to fix a problem and make it right than to make it right from the get go.

I removed a homemade Aqua C knockoff.....which didn't exactly skim much.
Its a Super Reef Devil from ETSS knock-off. You can tell by the downdraft at the top. Ask Tony Vargas about ETSS, he had a hand in the creation IIRC. (that model was very ineffect).
FWIW if you ever need a professional scratch removal job done, Matt @ SeeClear is about the best you will find. He's down in Socal but I'm sure he'd travel up here if needed.

Mostly inside...with a little polishing outside.Did Denzil buff both the insides and outside?
No problem....that's what a club is all about.neuro said:Great info Jim! Now I know who to contact if there is specific work/info I need done/help with.
What a huge difference you made Jim. They may actually sit in the family room and stare for hours
