Good suggestion… and this might work. The screws are almost all rounded though This is hilarious, I can’t believe how incapable I am. I have done a lot in my life, but not opening boxes with tanks in them I guess hahahaStart with the screws?

Hah! Wow that's awesome. I would try to get something between the boards and pry. Just obviously be careful you don't hit your tank...
After all the talk about making sure tank stands are flat and level I wonder if filling the tank in a box to check for leaks might cause the leaks?Maybe a water test before bothering to fully remove from crate
Just a thought

I believe it's an ELOS tank?Who's is the mfg? Who would built an indestructible cage?
Like @Arvin R mentioned, it’s an ELOS tank. They really overbuilt this box (in a good way). It even had security built in by stripping/rounding some of the key screws, and then just using super deeply embedded nails.Who's is the mfg? Who would built an indestructible cage?

@kinetic I'm done with the suction cups so they're ready for you whenever you need them.
Making the crate so hard to open is not a safety feature, it is a significant risk to the tank. Securely packed and relatively easy to unpack without use of excessive force is the way to do it.Like @Arvin R mentioned, it’s an ELOS tank. They really overbuilt this box (in a good way). I’ve had Red Sea tanks come cracked, so I was worried, but this was a tank in a… tank (like military tank).
