Big news today. Congratulations to Michael @merickson45 and everyone else that is /has worked on this project at LLNL! Ironically, Michael was just telling me last week how he is a physicist working on the world‘s biggest laser, but did not inkle at all on the breakthrough. Very cool!
 
Wow, actual net positive energy gain? Sweet. Now the next bit is to find a way to actually capture and use more energy than was put into it so that this kind of reaction can be self sustaining.

Well I guess the pessimist in me says the next bit is to replicate the experiment to make sure the results weren't a malfunction of the equipment.
