Biocube 32 #2 Anemone Tank

nice, the light upgrade looks great btw!
Yea, I'm seriously thinking I may need to add another one only because of coverage. Normally one would be good for a biocube. Yet the height of the rock structure and tight grouping of nems at the top seems to prevent light reaching the outer edges of the rock structures. Where other nems are. I won't add a second though until I can confirm with a par meter.

The nems on the side don't look very happy. This first day anyway. I know they will move. But I would like the nems to spread out more throughout the tank making it easier for me to share some with the club.

can you tell the nems apart?
they all look the same from here.
I've heard that if you combine the different "strains" in the same tank...they will morph into a single "strain"
I have 4-5 different types and I can easily tell them apart.

Most are 2 types only a few of the others so I can easily keep up with them, even when they move around.

If they do morph may the all turn into colorados lol.

I was having issues with the other lid. I got tired of having to flip it over every week, to try to prevent it from sagging down in tbe back. I was also starting to grow alage and stayed kinda foggy to the point it was possibly starting to block more and more light.

This was one hell of a project took 2.5 hours in total, cutting and removing trim to get the screen to fit flush with a dremel. In the end I got it done. Eager to watch the next few days to see how the nems respond to increased light penetration.

There is also a XXL paddle fin wrasse I need to figure out how to catch and relocate to the 210 at somepoint. It's so fast I fear it may be impossible to catch without emptying most of the tank

I will be looking for a tester fish to go into that tank first hopefully one that I would actually want long term.
