The problem is that tin can be in a ton of different forms, but ICP tests can't differentiate them. It can leach from plastic tubing too or rusty hinges on your stand. Best thing to do is water changes since a lot of the metal grabbing compounds like cuprisorb will strip out a lot of the desired TEs at the same time.

Thanks for the tip. I think tin is from the DIY lid from bulk reef supply. I probably didn’t fully clean all of the scapes from cutting the frame. And I accidentally drop the lid in tank a few times. For now will try keeping with water change.
