Cut off any non-living tissue and discard then dip while basting. Eggs will usually be on the frag plug, dead skeleton or rock right below the skeleton. Dip will/should knock off living aefw.

Better yet, do the above and also QT for a few weeks and dip once or twice a week to break aefw lifecycle if there are any left. One dip a week should be enough though.
