Hi Everyone,

We are looking for volunteers for the 2025 Board of Directors. This is our 2024 board if you are unfamiliar. If you are interested in having a bigger impact in the club...we would love to have you join the BOD! No previous Board experience is required. Just a passion for BAR. Some activities/positions require a bit more time than others. If you are interested (or want to nominate another member), post here or reach out to me or another Board member. According to the by-laws we need a facilities Coordinator. Anyone interested in that?

From the nature of the catering/events, I do understanding logistics and event planning is at the heart of it. As far experience with actually securing facilities I honestly don't have much.

However I'm also a member in two other non profit organizations, and I could assist in possibly getting access to or renting the locations the other two organizations meet at. Two locations are in san jose, and one is in santa clara. One of the organizations has many affilatited locations throughout the bay area/state (I would consider the other bay area locations only a possibility as it would take more effort to arrange for those than the ones I'm directly connected with)

Well when i think of “dbtc coordinator” i think of someone whos making sure that all chains are still active cause theres a few that our outdated. Someone who can keep the list updated and moving on equipment i feel like it stays stagnant and equipment doesn't stay moving. Correct me if im wrong

Equipment hasn’t been part of dbtc before. It sure how one person would keep the equipment moving unless they are driving all over the place all the time?
