I was just sitting here enjoying a nice bowl of fruity pebbles, when it dawned on me: this is flake food for humans.

Your thoughts?

Possibly corn flakes would be more accurate. Wouldn't spectrum pellets be something like Kix? Or maybe meatballs? (not a cereal, I realize)

Are pebbles more like a mashup of wet flakes that have solidified into a little lump? It's been a while since I've seen them memory is a little hazy

I consider potato chips to be the human analogue of most off-the-shelf flake foods.

Now I am craving fruity pebbles and potato chips, and I am certainly not pregnant. Thanks, E. :p

Had a buddy in college that ate corn flakes with Michelob for breakfast. Said milk made them taste funny. Reasonably sure that was not a good sign...

Fruity pebbles seem like freeze dried brine shrimp ... not much nutritional value but really colorful and fun to eat!

Ok.

I won't say anything about the chocolate milk and Cocoa Krispies dinner menu either :D
