Cheap UV for dinos -- so far so good

I started having Dinos last week. Its ugly and probably stressing out the corals. I bought a cheap-ass 9W UV from amazon, and its only been 24 hours and its making a significant dent. I would say 80% improvement in 24 hours! I'm impressed.

UV can definitely help, depending on the kind of dino. Do you know what kind you're dealing with?

I really don't know. I'm just going blind and try my luck with the UV. I have the type that disappear when the lights out but come back with a vengeance the next morning.

are the cheapo uv created equally? thinking about getting one myself but not sure if you need to check the spectrum or not
