Chiller Advice

Hey all, managed to get my hands on this chiller (huge thanks to Srt4eric and Coral Reefer), but have been having some trouble getting to work. I'm looking to run the tank at around 60 degrees F, ambient is around 72. I've read the directions on trying to get the chiller to work, and it cooled a few degrees down to 70, bur has remained stagnant since. I'm running it with around 35 gals of water. Does anyone have experience with this kind of chiller, and any advice on using it? Would appreciate any help. Thanks!

according the highlights in your posted link, it's effective range is 68-79. might need to double check if it can go down to 60.

Huh, thats weird! lots of people in the reviews using it for cold plunges and running it down as a low as 54. Will definitely check that out.

Dropping it, and holding it, are two different beasts. It might be able to drop it to those temps, but sustaining them will probably be too much for the compressor.

If you notice those cold plunge tanks they picture, they're heavily insulated.

I suspect you'll be fine given the ambient temp. Just vent the heat from the chiller otherwise you'll be working against yourself.
