So I'm beginning to gather what I need to start qting and Cholorquine Phosphate has been suggested and my research suggests it is a good med to get. However, I just realized that it is a prescription drug used for malaria. So where would be a good way to purchase? Approach a vet?

What else would be a good alternative for velvet and brook? I will be doing ttm so that should cover ich but I'm not sure that works for the rest.

I'll also be using PraziPro after.

Would ichX which contains formaldehyde, methanol and malachite green be a good alternative?

Any other suggestions?

I dont think any of those 3 chemicals (formaldehyde, methanol, and malachite green work for marine ich aka Cryptocaryon irritans. Also think those cure-all reef safe medications like rid-ich and kick-ich are snake oil.

By the way some fish and very sensitive to medications and may die. I don't know any off the top of my head but I think angels are very sensitive to copper compared to other fish.

I was more concerned about velvet and brook since I will be doing the ttm, that should take care of ich.
