Scrolling through humble fish. It's not necessarily a guarantee. But I'm hitting it pretty hard with hydrogen peroxide a couple times a day for a good solid month. You have to do more at first.

Let us know if it works. It is be super interesting.
If course.
Here's the thing, I had. No fish loss for several years. Though it must have been existing in the tank. So it may be one of those things where I'll never truly know unless I get an aqua biomics test.

And at this point I'm not planning on doing it. I mean it's interesting information but if I'm not going to do anything about the information I get, what's the point in testing?

Like a lot of you, I've been doing this a long time, and in that time I've sort of landed on the theory of doing the best I can with what I have available.

That's worked out for me most of the time!

My tank is using two synergy Shadow box version 3 for the overflows. Overall I'd say that they are pretty reasonably done. I have gotten them fairly quiet but I would get a bit of a gurgle from time to time going down the second standpipe.

So last night I printed up a little bit of an insert to sit inside of the standpipe to limit the amount of air entering and viola that's done the trick. With the exception of the splashing from the wave makers, I have nearly 500 gallons of water in my living room that is almost completely silent.

Well all my fish are in and looking good. It's been a little over a week and nobody seems sick!

In the next week or so I'm going to grab a pretty big order from high tide Aquatics. I spoke with @under_water_ninja and I'm pretty excited to start using them for my fish going forward. I'm basically just waiting until I feel like the holiday shipping rush is over.

What do your ReeFi settings look like? Always curious what people are using.
Like many of us who have been around since halides, I generally prefer a whiter tank. I also don't really like to mess around with my LEDs. When I got the Reefis over the 320, I picked the spectrums that Daniel had made. I basically have pretty blue early in the morning but switches to the SPS2 pre-made that he had in the system. Then I just ramped up the percentages on the bottom slider. It does taper back to a bluer look after 7.

Nice, pretty close to what I do too spectrum wise at peak. Running moons too?
Yeah, just having it do what the default is, I spent zero time trying to figure out the moon stuff out. Looks like it can get pretty advanced if one wanted.
