Hi everyone,

Today I woke up to what looks like to be cloudy water.
Nothing has been added nor changed for quite a while.
pH looks normal and skimmer is working normal too.
Corals and fish look fine.
I don't dose Kalk and my alk dosing jar is not depleted.
Really don't know what else to look for :(
Anyone have any other idea?

Thanks,
RI

Water change 30% every two days until clear.
The solution to pollution ie dilution!

it could be calcium precipitation, check your magnessium level. Water change and adding carbon will help but it's always good to find the root cause.

Yeah, very weird indeed...
It must have been calcium. It cleared up after a few hours.
I just don't know why it precipitated...
I'm going to test it later.

Could have been snails spawning.

I had some do that the other weekend.

Bacterial bloom perhaps?
Did you recently stir the sand bed, or have something die?
Check nitrates.
And of course - water change helps, regardless.

But more likely : +1 on check magnesium.
