Given the rarity, that I haven't seen this around before (outside the club), how pretty it is, and to encourage sharing: yes for it being an ultra.Wanted to double check that the bounce rhodactis mushroom we have in the club that I named “ROYGBIV” counts as an ultra based on the “Bounce mushroom” category. It does make bounce vesicles but to me the intense coloration and texture are more noteworthy.
Cali Kid had what looked like the same for a while and they called it “CK Pangea Bounce”. It was priced at a few hundred dollars (price no longer showing).
It’s also one of the most in-demand items in DBTC:
DBTC: ROYGBIV Rhodactis mushroom
I just added ROYGBIV Rhodactis mushroom to DBTC. There are 1 frag(s) available right now. This thread was automatically created by BARcodewww.bareefers.org

You're welcome to post it in the frag swap thread if you'd like; there's no real preference either way if you want to keep it a surprise or make people aware what you're bringing. The only exception is that, if you're unsure of something being bonus or ultra, to clear it with us ahead of time rather than doing it at registration/check-in.Should we post a list of what we're bringing to the swap with pictures here or do we prefer to keep it a surprise? I have a couple new MarineAndReef.com Reefractometers with 35ppt calibration fluid and an unused Aquaforest Test Pro Ca/Mg/KH test kit that I can donate. Let me know if anyone needs any last minute 3D prints as well.
Is the bounce supposed to be on the lashes? I can't tell from the picture and definitely wouldn't be able to confirm at check in since, like you said, they'd be closed up. Up to the big boss @IOnceWasLegend To be honest we're trusting the member's labels for zoas because they're usually all stressed and closed up. That being said, I'd consider them bonus. So I’m wondering what the verdict is for these CE “Bounce” zoas counting as bonus or regular. It was decided they have to be bouncing, but since I don’t really know what that means for a zoa, and they’ll be closed up tomorrow I thought I’d show the ones I’m planning to bring and get input. Especially from @IOnceWasLegend, @Invictus, and those who will be at coral check in @B the Nano Reefer @derek_SR @a.little.hypertonic
This is a pick just now:

None of the polyps appear to be bouncing from what I can tell from this pic, so I’d probably lean towards regular but happy for others to disagreeSo I’m wondering what the verdict is for these CE “Bounce” zoas counting as bonus or regular. I have fairy fart zoas that also have oddly thicker and rounder lashes, so I think some Zoas just carry this traitThe lashes are more rounded than most zoas, but none are asymmetrically weirdly large like a bounce vesicle would be in a shroom.
They are definitely the Bounce Zoa from CE, I just am not convinced that that is a good name for them.

@Alexx
No need to discuss now, but logging some thoughts while they are still fresh -
Oregon Tort should go from Ultra -> bonus (I know I originally pushed for it to be ultra, but there's just too much of it IMO). My bad.
Beach Bum monti should go from bonus -> regular (tons of it)
Magician Zoa from bonus -> regular (tons of it)
WWC Heartbreaker from regular -> bonus or even ultra (I actually checked this in and gave a bonus sticker for it - @SFREEF3R needed 1 more bonus to earn a ticket, and it was well deserved. I picked this up myself
This is just based on my own opinion of what I saw - others should chime in.
I think the new acro rules were good - only a couple smoothskins earned tickets (Hawkins echinata) and I don't think a single random tenuis even showed up, so I feel good about keeping the "any smoothskin" and "any tenuis" rules in place. I loved having a dedicated acro table and think the new rules helped drive some contributions here.
Also - discussed an alternative to the bonus rounds entirely with @ReyDeFarts , so maybe that's something worth considering also. I think he made a compelling argument.
I didn’t see it or I would’ve taken the gold hammer. Although I have a lot of them already lol. I brought one and it was gone in the bonus or first round because I didn’t see it anymoreI saw my lonely gold hammer and others in the later rounds hah maybe consider them regular now since they're widely available and already had.
Really surprised by the Oregon torts in the later rounds too. Blue corals just ain't as cool with today's bluer lights
