Why no gyres in this tank?

Initially it was because the MP-10s could run down as low as 1% power, where the gyres I looked at had low ends that were more like 40-50%. This was all before I put acros in the tank. I might experiment if I can find a good deal on some used ones.

What PAR are the Merlin’s under?

Merlin Staff was under 260 PAR before all the rearranging.

I think I also have the solar flare, but the home wrecker overtook it in terms of growth speed haha.

My plastic ATO container was leaching tin, so I switched it out for a 10 gallon Petco tank @richiev style. I got a lid cut at Tap Plastics using the cheapest material they had, but it is starting to warp. Thinking of going back and getting some different material, but I'll probably just leave it hahah. I also added motion sensor LED lights that are rechargeable and attach via magnet that someone posted about a while ago, I really like them. Cleaned up all the equipment under the tank while I was at it:

Looks really clean! My only suggestion would be to raise the ecoflow on a little plastic table so if there's a leak, it's elevated where water could pool.

For reservoirs, what I've done is buy the glass lids at Petco. They have a plastic section on them which is easy to drill for creating holes for tubing or float valves. Doesn't warp, but not as clean as what you did. Has other benefits though such as they have a hinge so you can open half (caveat I've only done this with 20 gallon ones but I assume the lids are the same).

+1 slightly raise the ecoflows. Also I usually mention to keep in mind the ecoflows have max wattage limits which if hit causes them to turn off and not auto turn back on. I say this because it's screwed me multiple multiple times until I figured out wtf was going on, particularly with the River I have.

Other tip, I printed plastic, dummy, USB and electrical port plugs. That's because I always splash water, and it always finds a way to splash on my outlets. Particularly with the ecoflows, that can be expensive. You can also buy them on Amazon/Ali/... Nice to have.

Just find polycarbonate (do not used cast acrylic) from the scrap bin and cut to fit. Probably will cost you less than $5.

Polycarbonate lid made from two pieces. If you want to get fancy, you could add a handle and use some weld-on to attach. I dremeled a hole on the backside for wiring.

It's been used for about two years now. No warping.
