Darn! wife pump diesel into our 2007 odyssey.

I'm pretty sure diesel will not ignite/catch fire unless it is super compressed. I don't think the spark plugs would make it combust and I'm pretty sure diesel would just foul up your injectors.

I think it will mess up your catalytic converter as well. I don't know, not a mechanic, just what I remember from school and tv.

Diesel will burn, and while the spark plugs might not be enough to ignite it, if there's any gasoline residue to ignite that might be enough to light the diesel.

A visiting co-worker of mine from asia put diesel in a hertz rental car. He was able to drive the car but engine stop shortly.
