Grows fine in both, but it's interesting enough looking to keep in the main tank with the orange spots. Not sure if it's safe if you have any tangs or other herbivores, but crabs and snails ignore it.

It’s prettier in a display with regular lighting than it is under most refugium lights. But it’s also more likely something in your display will eat it.
